Can a contractor put a mechanics lien on my property but never did any work to my property? In other words they didn't touch my house at all. Plus it's been more than 90 days in Broward County state of Florida.
The only parties who can lien a property on which no work was done are architects. If your contractor acted solely as a contractor, and no work was done, no lien can properly be filed.
