I'm a contractor and I paid other contractor in full 11/5/2019 and he asking for more money. Even he don't do a work what he asking money for. Can he put a lien on property? We never have any contracts between us.

Yes, they can ask, if there is no document with language that says final payment is truly final. Filing a lien is a very complicated question that requires an expert in lien law in the state you're in. avslaw@aol.com
