Hi, Thanks for the free help on construction contracts. Following is the scenario Contractor has delayed submission of drawings for approval. Original submission date (contractor's obligation) : 31st Jan 2020 Actual Submission: 30th March 2020 The approval for commencement of work from authorities (obligation of client): 5th Feb 2020 Actual permission was provided on : 5th April 2020 Can the contractor claim that the delay is concurrent? If so to what extent? Thanks Hariharan PS: this is Indian scenario. As there is no drop down option was available for outside US, I have chosen few dummy options
