What if we sent an old form of the preliminary notice? Can we send out the new version?

Assuming that the job is ongoing, the answer is yes. The prelim notice reaches back in time 20 days, so if you have been paid to date, the new prelim notice will protect your lien/bond/stop payment notice rights on the remainder of the project.

What if I sent old form of the preliminary notice without the correct wording and no declaration sheet? Have I lost all my right to file a mechanics lien?
