OhioMechanics Lien

I am selling a commercial property of which has a mechanic lien against it from 2004 and has never been acted upon. I have all documents of the lien and have called several attorneys and they will not return my call. I do not want it to cause a problem for closing what can I do

Pursuant to Ohio Revised Code 13.11.13, the Mechanics' Lien expired (i.e unenforceable) in 2010 or 6 years after it was recorded. You should address this with your title company as they should not view the lien as a cloud on your title. Please give me a call if you’d like to discuss further.
