Notice to extend time in which to file lien in Colorado

Colorado

I'm a subcontractor in Colorado and I filed a Notice to extend time in which to file lien on a project in November of 2021 which extends 6 months after filing or 4 months after substantial completion date. So the project substantial completion was 10/8/2021 so my question is can I file another notice to extend time in which to file lien in February or do I have to file the lien in February? Thank you, Carol

You cannot file another notice of extension. Assuming you timely filed the notice of extension, the intent and the lien must be completed and filed no later than four months after completion of the structure or other improvements.

My pleasure. I hope it works out. Remember, you have very strict timelimits related to lien rights. If you miss those, you still can sue for breach, if applicable.
