I am home owner. A/C wasn't working Called the a contractor to fixed it.he advise me to get new A/C can't be repaired. he replace new A/C demand to get paid only by cash refused money ordered. A/C stopped working after a week he sent someone. the technician asked to be paid $120. I have a contract that was sign by me and the contractor free service for one year. I call the owner and discussed the charger he said what's done is not related to the A/C.according to him adjusted the float switch on home's HVAC system and cleared drain lines is not related to the new A/C. after doing my research this is what he was suppose to do before he advice me to get new A/c. he never call me before the job was done to let me me know he's charging me for the worked he call me after the work was done. I refused to pay him. the question is can this kind of lien be enforced after 3 years and if so how I can disputed. on his affidavit he charging $812.50 for his work. Thanks
Hello,
To properly answer this question, we would need to know if the lien was placed immediately after the work was completed or if the lien was placed 3 years after work was completed. See my other answer on your other post.
