Neighbor's close pile driving has damaged my floors. Can I meet burden of proof to recover?

Washington

My neighbor did two days of vibration pile driving, seven feet from my house, in prep for building a retaining wall. Now my wooden floors are very creaky, and I'm worried about internal structural damage. But I don't know if I have evidence (e.g. old family videos?) that would prove my floors weren't creaky before. They got a geotech engineer to give a plan for a different technique (excavate, and support temporary wall with steel braces. But then for some reason (cost?) they switched to using vibration pile driving, very different, with only a simple diagram and no letter/report from the engineer explaining it or justifying it or assessing risk. A pilie driving company we called for advice said they'd never do pile driving in these circumstances. Do I have a real chance of getting them to pay for new floors?
