I HAD TROUBLE RECEIVING THE ENTIRE PAYMENT FOR ADD ON'S AND EXTRA'S HOWEVER HE FINALLY MADE GOOD AND I'M PAID IN FULL . HOW DO I RELEASE THE LEAN?
You need to record a document called a "Satisfaction of Lien" which is notarized and directs the Clerk to cancel your lien of record. It should refer to the Book and Page (or Instrument #) of the recorded lien. Any real estate attorney will have the form.
