I am a general contractor I filed a lein on one of my customers property that owes me money they never fulfilled the contract or paid me in full on the change order and my contract, we were gone for the holidays I just got back and I missed my court hearing date to defend the lean in court against the homeowner . The lean was released and now I am responsible for the attorney fees as well. The basis for releasing the lean was I did not file it in the timely manner which is the 90 days, This is not true I have all of my paperwork in order which shows the dates it was filed properly I did send a preliminary notice what can I do next how do I refile the lein?
