If we have a lien set to go into affect on the 16th but we told the company we wanted FULL payment....they only sent a partial one...if we cashed it would it void said lien?
They could make some sort of accord and satisfaction argument, but unless they told you it was a full and final payment or something that would not be applicable. Honestly, it is a factual inquiry depending on how the check was sent, deposited, etc.
