If you are in a direct contract with the rental property improvement a preliminary notice is legally unnecessary, but still advisably a business practice. If you have completed furnishing your material to project (private job) you must record a lien within 90 days of the last date of furnishing/ delivery. If you have any further questions you can contact the Soto Law Group at (954)567-1776.

We utilized Zlien previously to provide a notice of furnishing and are looking to do the same for this project. We did this on our own on Zlien but we need direction on the correct form or is there a new way of doing this with LevelSet?

Since your contract is directly with the owner, there is no need for any preliminary notice. There is also no "prelien" or "intent to lien" in Florida, prior to recording a lien. Except of course for the preliminary notices required if you do not have a direct contract with the owner. You just need to be able to record your lien within ninety days from the last date that you furnished materials to the project and that was incorporated in that property. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact YourConstructionLawFirm.com. We are here to help.
