Issues to get paid

Im a subcontractor and i do most lik commercial construction and some residential owner call me for a drywall job and i told him the price and we agreed to get payment every week on friday and the only proof i have is couple email but when i meet the owners he reques for me to fix all the frame issues and i as k him why the others framers they do finish the wirk and he told me that the other framers and drywall run away with the money so ill give him a price for fixing all the frame and new hardie siding installation and i suppose to get paid when job is done and he don't wanted to pay me now on drywall and framing and materials delivery and cleanup all the trash was in and out the house He claiming now that we haven done a good job and hes lowering the prices we agreed and now i know that many people they haven't get pay from work has been done at the house and hes not willing to work he is just a thief that make people work and not pay them so that's my case so my question is how can lien that house??? Thank you!

You have two options for payment if the general contractor has disappeared. (1) if you sent a valid preliminary 20-day notice, you can assert a mechanic's lien against the property. If the property is owner-occupied residential, then you need a signed contract directly with the owner. (2) you can sue the owner for unjust enrichment for the reasonable value of your services.
