Following water damage on the floor of my apartment, a remediation firm came to remove the flooring and do all the drying etc. They then sub-contracted out the rebuild. The rebuild was installed but now (either due to poor install or poor material quality) there is damage in the form of cracks in the wood, large gaps between planks, and cupping in regions of the flooring. This was about 5 months ago. Are they liable for replacing and reinstalling the floor?
