We completed a home improvement project and the homeowner has been refusing to pay and not returning calls to avoid providing payment. It has been over 90 days since our invoices have been issued and final project work. We did have a job walk with the homeowner today who again refuses to pay final invoicing. We would like to avoid a lawsuit if a mechanics lien is possible however are we beyond the deadlines to file? Thank you!
