Street sweeping, by itself, is not subject to prevailing wage requirements in California. If additional work is performed that goes beyond cleaning or aesthetic work - then it's possible prevailing wages might be required, though.

Municipal Street Sweeping is considered Maintenance. City or County contracts over $1000 shall be Prevailing wage.

If our payroll was finalized by the labor compliance company for a project. They know there is final items to take care of. Does contractor still have to pay prevailing wage for punchlist or final repairs?

All public work project employees must be paid the prevailing wage set by the Department of Industrial Relations, depending on the type of work and location of the project. It is always better to research the information about the company before applying for a job. I use this resource to learn interesting facts about career building and job searching: https://resumeperk.com/blog/cover-letter-for-sales-executive-expert-tips--examples. It even contains resume examples for different positions.

Any task that is routinely needed is not considered public works project. Public works on a "project" is any work that takes one time effort to complete. Since sweeping is needed after a project is completed.. It doesn't qualify.
