Is interest included in the lien amount if it is chargeable under the contract between the contractor and client

Unpaid invoices for almost one year; contract requires the client to pay interest on unpaid invoices

The lien statute does not name interest as lienable. I recommend "no." the risk of losing the lien to an exaggeration claim is too serious.
