I am with a GC finishing up a project in Nashville. I issued a Notice to Owner on 7/1, listing the original completion date of 10/9. Due to additional work, that date has been extended via owner change orders to 12/11. Our latest payment is delayed and want to ensure we are fully protected. If we needed to file a lien, are we covered with the notice filed or do I need to file an additional to cover the extra dates?
