In VA, can a Class A licensee sub out work that is outside of their specialty. eg- H/H hiring plumbing subcontractor?

In VA, if you have a Class A contractors license with let's say a H/H specialty - are you able to hire licensed subcontractors to perform project work that is not within your specialty, but are the specialty of the subcontractor? Thank you.

I don't see a licensing reason why this would be a problem. General Contractors hire subcontrators of various specialties to perform work on a regular basis. So long as the subcontractor is not self-performing any of the work outside of its specialty there should not be an issue.
