Your lien claim amount is the contracted upon balance or fair and reasonable value of the labor and materials furnished.

"Contracted Upon" meaning entire Contract Price. Let me clarify Contractor had no legal reason for breaching contract, I was doing him a favor at sending notice what was owed up and to the Breach. 1000.00, After legal notices filed a Mechanics lien, for entire Contract Price, 4500.00 balance. I'm assuming hiring Level Set it was done legally and Proper. The Contractors Attorney sent letter, so I do not want to be liable for his fees and home owners in what he says clouding with illegal lien damages. Anyway I'm not canceling lien for I want paid for my Labor, just needed advice. Thank You
