I am a builder and general contractor. If my agreement was Promised verbally and not in writing to I have any recourse for collection?

Hi, Yes. Oral contracts are enforceable in Texas. Be aware, however, that it will be a difficult process and the more documentation you have to prove up agreements, including text messages, the better chance you will have at recovery. E. Aaron Cartwright III 214-789-1354 Aaron@EACLawyer.com

Although more difficult it is certainly is a debt that can be pursued by a certified commercial collection agency who is licensed and bonded to collect in Texas. This can be done without spending any money upfront and collected on a contingency fee bases so to not throw good money after a unpaid debt.
