Winning a judgment doesn't automatically mean that payment gets made, as I'm sure you understand all too well. Colorado has this resource which should be helpful: Collecting a Judgment | Colorado Judicial Branch. Generally, with a judgment in hand, it should be relatively easy to obtain a judgment lien on the judgment debtor's property. So, this article on Colorado judgment liens may help if the debtor still has property in Colorado: Judgment Liens on Property in Colorado. Of course, collecting might be a little more complicated if the debtor no longer lives in the location where the judgment was obtained. These resources seem to provide some insight into how a judgment might be collected across state lines: (1) How To Collect Judgments Across State Lines | Martin Law Firm; (2)  Collecting Judgments Across State Lines; and (3) What If The Judgment Debtor Moves Out Of State Where The Judgment Was Awarded?
