I recently bought my house in Florida, we closed in February 2022. We just received a Notice of Intent to File a Lien on 5/20/2022 from a water/fire/mold damage restoration company based out of California who also has a location in Florida. We have not had any work on our house since we bought it, so this is from the previous owner. We did not know of any restoration projects done on the house. Who do we need to contact and how to make the previous owner pay if the claim is legitimate?
