Don't cancel it; just send a new, corrected notice. Keep in mind that if the new notice is past the 20 days of your start date, you won't be able to lien for work performed before the new notice is sent.

You don’t need to cancel a Preliminary Notice. However, if you’re concerned, you could send a letter or email to the owner to let them know you made a mistake.
