I'm a contractor and my client is unhappy with the work performance what are my rights

Unfortunately, I think you should speak with an attorney so that the attorney can get all of the information before giving you specific rights as to your current situation. Some of those rights may include: (1) If the homeowner does not pay, you can record a Notice of Lien against the Property, which you will have to enforce (i.e., file a lawsuit) to get paid; (2) fix the issues and then seek payment again; or (3) tell homeowner you are going to pull off the job if you are not paid pursuant to NRS 624. All of these could have consequences, so you want to make sure you are doing the right thing. Also, if you are a subcontractor and you are dealing with the General Contractor, you may have other options. Again, you need to provide specific information to get specific responses on how to proceed.
