I have already gave a Intent to Lien to my clients now I need to give them a mechanical Lien.

IllinoisLien DeadlinesMechanics Lien

I did work on two properties and did not get paid. I have already gave a Intent to Lien notices 2 weeks ago. Also, I have a final notice on a Intent to Lien and still NO response from the client. Do LevelSet have services to serve a Mechanics Lien?

You indicate that you issued an "intent to lien" and have not heard from your customer. There are a number of reasons why this may be true. You ask about service of the Mechanics Lien, but that is only one of the potential issues.

Remember, just by making improvements or supplying services or materials to a property that have not been compensated, you are entitled to a lien per Illinois law. However, for your lien to be effective, it must be "perfected" - that is, the format must be correct and it must be served to the persons, and in the manner, specified under Illinois law. Even if you did all that correctly the owner of the property need not contact your or take any action in particular, It is up to you to take the next step by foreclosing your Mechanics Lien or, in the alternative, not foreclsing right away and letting the lien remain on the property (there are deadlines to foreclose the lien in Court, or you lose your lien rights).

I could go on, as this subject is vast, but these are the most important points to examine. I recommend consulting an experienced construction Attorney.

I hope this information was helpful. Best of luck.
