I had Pavers installed after the work was started the contractor said I needed to pay 400.00 more dollars. I said I’m not going to do that. After the work was it looks like kind of close to complete, she calls and says, that their company doesn’t pay for the permit for the work, they did. She said I would have to pay for the permit. The only permit she mentioned was for a permit for the apron on my driveway. And she seemed to be in a rush to start the work, and said the permit for the apron would take too long. Bottom line, for me, do I have to pay for the permit, or not? I already gave them a cashiers check, for the original contract price, at 8pm, Friday 1/22/21. I can’t lock my garage door, paver are at least a half inch too high, sprinkler system on my front lawn is broken, dirt is still in the street, the back deck is surrounded by concrete crush, she said it will cost me an additional 900.00 dollars to seal the pavers, what would you do, if you were me?
