My question to you is I filed a mechanic's lien I've sent him a notice of intent to foreclose how else can I pressure him into just paying the bills so I don't have to actually go to court but I will if I have to to get paid

If you've filed a mechanics lien, there are some additional steps that can be useful for getting paid. For one, making sure everyone involved has been notified about the lien filing is a good place to start. Then, negotiating a solution is typically a good next step. If others aren't taking the debt seriously, threatening to enforce the lien with a Notice of Intent to Foreclose might make them take the debt seriously - and so could threatening other legal claims with a payment demand letter. But, if all else fails, filing a lien enforcement suit could get the job done too. For further discussion on this topic: The 4 Steps to Take After Filing a Mechanics Lien.
