I am interior designer and I refinish and re-face cabinets as side work. I just found out through this lawsuit that I am supposed to have a contractors license for cabinet painting now. So I am not sure if I can file a lien on the property because I don’t have a contractors License. They have filed a small claims court case against me and I’m not sure if I will lose just because I don’t have a contractors license. Im hoping you can help me...Any advice would be helpful.
