I did not have Lender Info and the job has already started; according to California Law Lender info is required for prelim notices.

I have Lender Info, I need help to do this legally. The deadline has already past.

I think it is prudent to serve the lender with the 20-day prelim now, and hope you don't need to pursue a stop payment notice claim down the road. If you do end-up having to pursue a stop payment notice claim, you can deal with the tardy prelim at that time. If you would like to discuss further, feel free to call me on Monday.
