I am located in Arkansas. My client is in Missouri and needs some caulking done on the log home. Can I cross state lines

ArkansasCoronavirus

I am a small business. I need to cross state lines from Arkansas to Missouri. The home needs caulking to prevent rain from getting in. Can I do this now?

If the work being performed is critical for the safety of the building and occupants, then construction work can typically continue as "essential." You can also find a state by state breakdown of where construction work can continue, here: Can I do Construction Work In my State? But, again - even in states where work is limited, emergency or critical work can typically continue. As far as Arkansas and Missouri go: It looks like Arkansas is pretty widely allowing for construction work to continue, so leaving home to do construction work should be acceptable there. Missouri has been following federal guidelines on whether work can continue. Under those guidelines, work can continue when it's necessary for the safety of the residence, business, and occupants. So, if the work is truly needed to make the home safe, then that work would be considered essential in Missouri - so it could continue there.
