How long is a restoration company suppose to keep a customers contents if they are not wanting to pay for the services?

ArizonaConstruction Contract

insurance company already released payment to cover the bill for contents but customer does not want to pay for it. Its been over two years now with no payment. When would a restoration company be able to dispose of the items. the customer has made clear they have no interest on getting back. Should there be a final notice?

If the contract has any provisions regarding what should be done with the materials in question, then it's a good idea to follow the contract. But, if the contract is silent, it's still a good idea to send final notice in order to provide a customer with one more chance to pay what they owe and to obtain the materials in question. Including a strict timeframe for making payment, along with steps that can be taken to avoid the destruction or abandonment of the materials, could both work to try and compel payment as well as provide cover for a potential dispute later on. For ultimate clarity, though, it's probably a good idea to consult with a local construction attorney. They'll be able to get a better sense of your situation, review project documentation, and provide you with advice on how to proceed.
