Hello, We are located in California but completed a project in TX. Project info is in Levelset. What are the next available options after the lien info has been filed?

You could hire a Certified Commercial Collection Agency of America who is license and bonded to collect in Texas to collect the debt on a contingency fee bases so you would only pay a small fee if they collect. If you would like a quote feel free to drop me an email at srauch@rauchmilliken.com .  Best regards, Steve

Thank you. Can I hire a lawyer to sue or take option legal options? What are the pros and cons of a lawyer vs. collection agency?

Yes hiring a lawyer to sue is another option but you will have upfront cost to file suit to obtain a judgment and depending to the court docket it could be a long time. If successful in court, you will still have to collect the judgment and there could be additional cost associated to do this as will as paying the attorney either a contingency fee or hourly bases.  Collection agencies utilize a network of attorneys to sue but only after all efforts to secure payment has been made.  The advantage of a collection agency is no upfront cost and if successful in a short period of time your problem is solved, you have your money less their commission.
