Hi. My husband does work for a company that has not paid him in weeks, the owner of the company also happens to be our landlord who has now decided he is selling the house. Is it possible to put a lien on the house in order for my husband to receive all he is owed? It was unfortunately a situation where my husband was trying to help a friend (our landlord, his boss) get caught up on his debt by doing all the work for the company and paying off vendors but in the meantime has not received any pay himself.
