How do we know a project is actually Federal? Owner is listed at Department of Veteran Affairs.

To verify it is Federal you can do a title search and see who owns the property. If the pre-lien info indicates it is Federal, you can likely rely on that information. The Miller Act applies to Federal projects. Good luck.
