You need guidance: Contact Capitol Services in Sacramento 916-443-0657. They are a private company that handles all aspects of CSLB licenses and regulations. In my experience they are faster and less expensive than a law firm.

There’s a form on the CSLB website for this called a “Disassociation Request” form. Look under the “Forms and Applications” section (www.cslb.ca.gov ). You fill out the form and file it with the CSLB to let the CSLB know that you will no longer be the qualifier for the corporation. The corporation must replace you within another qualifying officer or employee within 90 days of the disassociation date or their license will be suspended.
