Would you please tell me in detail ,"How do you foreclose on a lein in Ohio"? I've been taking care of an abandoned property, next door to me, for years and I am tired of it. I have also maintained one 3 houses down from mine since the ladt died and no one came to clear out the house. What can I do to file a lein on the abandoned property for all my ongoing work on the property? How do I first dile a proper lein... and then How do I foreclose on the property? Steps, parties to be notified, filings/procedures? How long do I have to wait to foreclose on the property? What are the steps to take and what papers are needed? I asked the prosecutor at the Montgomery County , Dayton Ohio and the asst. told me I have to notify them...? How do I do this? Unfortunately... I have not one dime to give to an attorney with all I am paying on my home and the next door property and the one 4 houses down. I have to do this to protect the value of my home in the neighborhood. I now have to roof the next door home because the chimney fell off in a wind storm and stuck the chimney in the lower roof and made a giant hole in the lower roof. I have to patch it up... or my property value will plummet ! Please help me!
