You most likely need to hire a construction attorney to file a complaint to foreclose upon each mechanics lien within 90 days from when each lien was recorded. It is generally a straightforward and fairly inexpensive process to get a lawsut filed to preserve the lien.

You need to file a lawsuit to foreclose on the lien, and you need to file that lawsuit within 90 days of recording your mechanic's lien. That said, never wait until the last minute, as sometimes complaints are rejected for a host of reasons. If you need help, you can call me. Good luck.

to enforce the lien, you file a lawsuit against any upstream contractor and property owner. Typically you have 90 days from the time of the recorded filing date of the lien to file the lawsuit.
