We filled a lien, and it is sent out to the county. How can we take him to court to hold him accountable to pay us? We just need to be paid for this project.

Good question. You need to file an action in Court to foreclose on the lien. In Georgia, the court you go to, Magistrate or Superior, depends on the value of the lien. You file a suit to foreclose the lien, get a judgment on it and then you can collect from the homeowner's assets. If you file suit, the owner will more than likely negotiate to settle.
