How can I get a lien done if I’m not a licensed contractor on a property I did work for?

ArizonaMechanics Lien

Currently took a job doing stack stone customer refuses to do payment of 6,000 dollars because job isn’t fully complete . I ask for 3,000 by this time I have a days full worth of labor to be done . Customer refuses to proceed with payment ask one of my workers to cut travertine stone out in the street . Which I responded can’t do that . I have a documentation where we agreed on payment . Did lots of extra work for the customer like getting him a new plant. we also installed a new gas line for him asked to remove old dirt from the trench and then bring new dirt . Very particular situation and customer .

Generally unlicensed contractors have not lien rights. Each situation is different and you should consult an attorney to ensure you are protecting your rights.
