Im a sub contractor i completed the job and after the final walk through the customer found some defects that they wanted corrected they told the contractor that they didnt want me back on the property and so contractor hired another sub to do repairs and i got stuck with they new sub contractors bill. Is that legal for the contractor to withhold my earnings and give it to another sub that they hired . even though they didnt give me an oppertunitty to fix my own defects
