Filing a Lien In Pennsylvania - Can List of Open Invoices be Submitted Instead of Actual Invoices

PennsylvaniaMechanics Lien

I am trying to file a mechanic's lien in Pennsylvania. Level Set form is asking for copy of an invoice or statement that identified work provided. There are several open invoices that are 60+ pages. Can I attach a listing of open invoices instead?

I would say no … the purpose of the requirement is to provide a detailed list of the work provided so that the owner can verify that the work was completed. A list of open invoices likely does not contain sufficient detail and could result in the contractor’s lien being stricken through preliminary objections.

Do all open invoices need to be attached to the lien for transportation and warehousing or would one of each for a sample suffice?
