I have a mechanic's lien on our church by a contractor and his sub-contractor for remainder of payment that was refused due to improper work that failed city inspection. It's over 2 years and his right for enforcement expired. No action was brought to foreclose the lien and both companies are out of business. Letters sent to the last known addresses of the companies returned, undelivered. The lien is in Du page county. How do we remove the lien from record?
