Experienced attorney to represent me ?

VirginiaConstruction Contract

I am a contractor in VA and I took on a project for a older man to build a front and rear porch roof and install a architectural shingle roof. Upon starting the project in april 2019 I was asked to make a change " put windows in the rear porch". I had vinyl windows quoted and everything was good to add windows to the rear porch. Two days later the customer wanted to get blinds in-between the glass. My sales rep was not able to get blinds in the glass with the company making the windows so my sales rep went and met with the customer to discuss the window options and the customer chose to use a Pella window which would put blinds between the glass. The price difference was an additional $10,000 in which the customer paid the difference and my sales rep ordered the windows for this customer. After all the framing and roofing work was done, I was waiting for the window order to be delivered to finish the job. The customer calls and leaves a voicemail on my phone asking me to work somewhere else for awhile so he could do some things he needed to do, I went and talked to the customer and he was to let me know when he was ready for me to come back and finish up. A few weeks past, I had not heard from the customer. A few months pass and he does not call me to return so I went by his house and he posted a No Trespassing at the bottom of the driveway. He continued to avoid me and after some months past I receive a court summons to appear for a charge of " Failure to perform construction with payment in advance." When I received the paper I went and had a cashier check made out to the customer and I sent his payment on the window change order back to him and informed him that I was canceling the window order after the payment was returned back to him. It appears that the old man went and told some crazy false story and had this charge taken out on me. I have to go to court again in august and I do not see where I have done anything wrong. I hope to find an attorney with experience in this to help me get this straightened out.
