exam waiver for corp.

We are a electrical contractor and i am pres. / ceo, and will be stepping down shortly, my son will be taking over, he has been on the our license @ the cslb since 2012. can he waive the total exam and take over the business , he is a vice pres. now.

My understanding is that your son must still take the exam if he hasn't ever taken it before if he will be acting as the RMO or RMO for your corporation, even if he was listed as an officer for your corporation @ the CSLB before. If he has taken the exam already he won't need to do it again.
