Does Arizona's Prompt Payment Act include work done on construction material source pits?

Thank you for the great advice regarding Arizona's Prompt Payment Act. Does this Act include payment for geological research and due diligence reporting/material assessment for mined building materials (ie. sand and gravel for concrete)? Thank you! Jason

If you are a provider of "professional services" you may also record a lien provided that the professional services provider has a contract with the owner or with an architect, engineer or contractor who has a contract with the owner. Professional services means those engaged in architectural practice, engineering practice or land surveying practice as defined in A.R.S.§32-101 (Registered Professionals). It sounds like the issue would be whether the work you did falls under the category of "engineering" or "land surveying" (and obviously the other contractual requirements).
