Do we need to file separate liens for same company?

New York

We had a contract with Rose Associates to come in as a contractor to do on going construction, plumbing and cleaning services for their many properties. Two of the properties have not paid us for services rendered. Do I need to file two separate mechanical lien or can I address both properties and the two amounts on one lien?

each property should have a separate lien.

separate liens. liens attach to real estate, so each lien must stand on its own, attached to the affected real estate. therefore the amount claimed must be by separate property as well.

If the 2 properties in question have separate Tax ID numbers, then you have to file 2 separate liens…and each lien has to only be for the specific amount that is unpaid on that particular piece of property…you cannot combine the dollar amounts.
