Do I need a separate waiver for each invoice in AZ?

If I have 5 invoices for one job/customer in a month in Arizona, my customer typically wants me to sign one lien waiver for the full amount (the sum of all 5 invoices). Is it okay to combine them on one lien waiver, or do I need a separate lien waiver for each invoice?

Mechanics lien waivers and invoices aren't really tied together, and waivers don't have to match specific invoices. Granted, parties collecting waivers will often expect a waiver when each invoice is paid, and it's often a good idea to submit a mechanics lien waiver with every invoice. But the point remains - parties who are collecting Arizona lien waivers are generally entitled to do so as they please, as long as they aren't attempting to force others to waive lien rights in the contract. So, as long as all of the math adds up and as long as mechanics lien rights are being waived in a manner that the submitter is comfortable with, then Arizona construction businesses can exchange waivers at whatever pace they find acceptable.
