We did a full gut renovation of an apartment in Manhattan. We had a one year call back provision. We were unable to occupy the space for over a year due to the higb rate of Covid. Now every issue or defect that arises our contractor says is past warranty and he cahatges us $200/hour with a two hour minimum. Seems unjust since we did not occupy the space so the problems did not crop up during the one year period. This seems like I could not be alone in having this problem so wondering if or what can be done?
