owners and contractor signs a contract then calls weeks later to say that they forgot to charge for labor. Now will cost tens of thousands more.Is this a breach of contract? what can they do? thank You for your time.
It is not a breach of contract and you can hold them to the price that they quoted. They can ask for some sort of change order to add the additional cost, but their failure to properly quote the job is not your issue, it is theirs. Assuming they had not started work and you want to move on to a different contractor, the general rule is that you can mutually cancel the contract. Based on what little you have put into the question, this is likely the best result.
